Winamp skins retro plus#
Plus it's portable so runs from any USB drive (when you run the installer choose 'portable mode'.) It's freeware, no ads/crudware that comes bundled with other apps lately.
Winamp skins retro software#
Unless you count old software that still runs today like Winamp classic.

There's plenty of other skins and a separate editor available for those of you more artistic than I am at their site. Screenshots of every single skin have been added and I uploaded a few default skins that were missed when I first put the collection together. I never owned a reel-to-reel but I'm willing to bet some of you did. Here is a skin I downloaded for AIMP which is almost exactly like the system I had when I had a C64: If you don't care for cool skins on a software media player skip this post. See, when I had a C64 half my meager wages went to C64 gear. The Winamp Skin Museum is a project by Jordan Eldredge, who, along with the Internet Archives Jason Scott, collected tens of thousands of skins to preserve on the Internet Archive. There's so many media players for Windows (Foobar, XMPlay, Xion, MediaMonkey, Clementine to name a few), I have all of these and don't know which is my fave.ĪIMP has caught my attention recently because of its retro-tastic skins.
